A trend we've noticed in the industry right now is to release your game with excellent miniatures regardless of the quality of your game, since you know people will buy it just for that. The seductive effect of enticing people with your minis is all too common these days. 

We've all seen great games that had bad miniatures, meeples, standees, etc.; but what about the bad games with great pieces? Do they deserve the same playtime at the table? Do they even deserve to be on the shelf? Are we being duped? Let's talk about this trend and get to the bottom of this.
