Everybody has an opinion about what you should do with your life.
The bigger the goal, the more opinions you're probably going to hear.
"That's risky."
"Why would you do that?"
"You should be happy with what you have."
"I don't think that's going to work."
And sometimes those opinions come from people you love and respect.
But here's the problem: they don't have to live with the outcome. You do.
In this episode, I talk about something that kills a lot of goals before they ever have a chance to become real: allowing other people's opinions to carry more weight than your own commitment.
Not everyone is going to understand what you're building. They don't see the vision the way you do. They may not understand why you're willing to work harder, make sacrifices, start the business, change careers, chase a bigger goal, or take a path that looks completely different from theirs.
And that's okay.
You don't need everybody to agree with your goals.
You need to be clear about why they matter to you and disciplined enough to keep moving when someone else doesn't understand them.
In this episode, we get into:
There's a big difference between listening to good counsel and handing someone else the steering wheel.
Take advice. Learn from people who have earned the right to speak into that area of your life. Be willing to change when the evidence says you're wrong.
But at the end of the day, you have to own the goal, the work, and the outcome.
Your life shouldn't be built around keeping everybody else comfortable with your decisions.
Set the goal.
Know why it matters.
Do the work.
And Just Keep Reaching.

A lot of people hear the word sales and immediately think of something negative.
Pushy. Manipulative. Sleazy. Someone trying to convince you to buy something you don't need.
But that's not sales. That's bad sales.
In this episode, I break down why selling is one of the most misunderstood skills in business and why, whether you realize it or not, you're already selling every single day.
When someone helps you find the right tire after yours goes flat, that's sales. When a family finds the right home, sales is involved. When a business solves a problem for a customer, somebody had to communicate the value of that solution.
Good sales is problem solving.
And it goes way beyond products and services.
You sell ideas. You negotiate. You persuade. You communicate your point of view. You sell yourself in a job interview. As a leader, you sell your team on a vision. As a business owner, you have to get customers, employees, partners, and sometimes even yourself to believe in where you're going.
The question isn't whether you sell.
The question is whether you've learned how to do it well.
In this episode, I cover:
Why so many people have a negative relationship with sales
The difference between selling and manipulating
Why great salespeople focus on solving problems
How sales shows up in everyday life
Why business owners can't afford to avoid learning sales
The connection between sales, negotiation, persuasion, and leadership
Why providing real value changes the entire sales conversation
How becoming better at selling can change the trajectory of your business and career
If you're an entrepreneur, business owner, sales professional, leader, coach, or someone who has always said, "I'm just not a salesperson," this episode is for you.
Because sales isn't something reserved for people with "sales" in their job title.
You're already doing it.
Now it's time to get good at it.

If you don't believe in you—why should anyone else?
Confidence isn't ego.
It's earned certainty built through action, ownership, and identity.
Belief is the foundation of leadership, sales, and every result you want. In this video, I break down:
What real self-belief looks like (and why fake hype doesn't work)
How to build belief through discipline—not emotion
Daily tools to rewire doubt and anchor identity
What to do when confidence slips or pressure hits
You're not waiting to believe—you're building it.
This is the standard.

My Wife Kelly and I struggled for 2 years trying to having kids and we went through the IVF process to try to get pregnant. When we found out we were pregnant with triplets we didn't know how to react. We started sharing our news "that we were expecting triplets" we didn't get the reaction from people that we thought we would. A lot of the comments we got were negative back handed if you will. We have always thought of our triplets as blessings. Because they truly are. The older they have gotten the more I have learned from them!

On this episode of the Just Keep Reaching Show I talk about the most often overlooked fundamentals.
I have been noticing lately a lot of people think they know the fundamentals, but in reality they really don't. The fundamentals to me is something people need to get down to be able to achieve their true potential. This means everything from positive mindset and solutions, to tracking, to making an impact on people.
Serving people should be your focus, but how do you keep track of all of them? I hit on the topic of key performance indicators, where you can learn who you have communicated with, who you've already made an impact on, and who you still have left to reach out to. There is 5 billion people in the world, it is impossible to remember every conversation with every person you reach out to.
You learn things each and every day. Training is something you should do every day, but train on the basics and the fundamentals. That is how you can consistently grow every day and learn as much as you possibly can.
These are some of the key fundamentals that I go in depth about in this episode:

Today we're talking about being afraid to start something new.
Whether it being because you have never tried it before or you have failed at it in the past, you need to remember who giving up on this goal you have set for yourself would affect. So many people want to see results right away, in fitness, in business, and in personal life, and they quit when they aren't seeing the type of results they want right away.
"Anything that is worth having doesn't come easy, and anything that does come easy isn't worth having"
I can talk about my personal experiences with fitness because I once was 140 lbs and a small guy and it took be almost 5 years to get to where I wanted to be fitness wise. It is my hope that by sharing this you will realize that everyone has a hard time waiting for the results they want to see.
So how do you improve your patience? It is simple, but not easy. Tune in and listen to some tips that will get your through some of your most inpatient times in business, fitness, and life.
These are some of the key topics I go in depth about in my podcast:
Today I had the privilege of talking with Jill Christine, an athlete for PEScience about her fitness journey and being a social media influencer. Jill is born, raised and currently resides in Minne"snow"ta. She has had a tremendous weight loss/fitness journey herself. She was overweight growing up and struggled with her body image Jill's senior year of high school she was at her heaviest weight of 180 lbs (before her journey began.) The following January after graduating high school is when her fitness journey started. She cut out alcohol, switched from eating unhealthy to healthy foods, and starting exercising consistently with lifting weights and cardio. About 6 months into her journey she lost 50 lbs. "When you start this journey you have to make it a lifestyle, you can't just do it to lose the weight and then go back to your old habits."
Jill started to struggle with re-gaining some of the weight she lost but then maintained a "skinny" physique for a couple years. Which led to an unhealthy obsession with exercise. "Even though I was "thin" I was mentally not healthy." She needed to shift her mindset then to a "self-love" journey rather than a weight loss journey. In the past few years she gained 10 lbs of muscle and that's when she social media presence picked up.
Listen in to here more about Jill Christine's journey.
