  • 28 - In Time (2011) feat. Joe Dehuai

So my (Mabel Thompson (the comedian who plays the character May Thompson (yeah May is a character I hate to break it to you, I'm actually quite normal and not that excitable in real life))) favourite film is The Truman Show, written by Andrew Nicholls. He also wrote 2011's In Time. I'm starting to think The Truman Show was a fluke.

Me (May Thompson) and Harri (Harri Dobbs) are joined by Joe Dehuai (the character played by Joe Morgan) to discuss this film in a completely unbiased and normal way.

Joe's new podcast "Butterfly Stompers" is out NOW. And if I've got the timings right, Harri should be on that podcast today. Also Joe should be on Harri's other podcast "Didn't Ask" today too, so really we've set things up wonderfully. I'm gonna be on Joe's podcast next week too I think.

  • 27 - Trolls Holiday in Harmony (2021)

    Merry (late) Christmas.

Trolls Holiday in Harmony is the last Trolls thing we can do before finally doing the inevitable and just watching Trolls. Also, it's time for our Justin Timberthon secret Santa!

Sometimes Spotify puts little links down the bottom for the people involved in the pod based on the names in the description and I'd really like this one to be Santa Claus. So I might just type that a few more times. Santa. Santa Claus. Father Christmas. Santa Claus. Mrs Claus. Santa Claus.

  • 26 - Palmer (2021) feat. Heledd Holloway

Palmer (2021) is the Chekhov's gun of this podcast, being teased the whole time in our opening music. It's also an absolute treat. And if you don't know what Chekhov's gun is, that's because you didn't do a performing arts A Level did you. What, too busy doing maths? Have some fun for once in your boring boring life.

May and Harri are joined this time by very special guest, Heledd Holloway, who isn't only on because they happened to be in the house while we recorded this and was also living with Harri at the time, we were gonna book them all this anyway they were the real Chekhov's gun of this podcast actually.

In this episode, Harri and May talk about one of the most cooked films ever made, 2006's Southland Tales. Also, they talk about sitcoms, moving house and Harri's big redecoration! Thrilling stuff.

May Thompson's debut show "Lizard" is in Aberystwyth on the 6th of October and Newquay on the 8th. More dates coming probably.
