Immanuel Williams was a camper from the south side of Chicago. He’s worked on staff for 3 summers and is now an LIT (Leadership in Training). He spoke to the KAA2 campers about finding their identity in Christ; making Jesus their most treasured distinction.

Just like newborn babies, who are fully dependent on their mothers in their first few months, so too, are newborn Christians depedent on their mentors for spiritual nourishment. Dr. Rochester speaks to our Kaleos about the importance coming along side their "newborn" Christian kids and helping them learn how to grow in that relationship.

The Redmon family has been coming to KAA for the past three years to talk to our high school kampers about Godly marriage. They strongly emphasize the importance of understanding that marriage is not about 'you' but about the relationship as a whole. Marriage is meant to be a sacrificial partnership, and in those moments when you don't have all the answers, it is important to turn to God to be your stability.

James Hogue Delivered the message of Crosstalk to KAA1 Session 5. It was a reminder that although we all sin, Christ’s work covers us if we have faith in Him.

Session 4, June 29, Dr. Rene spoke with the Kaleos. It was the culmination of all they learned this week before loading into their buses and going home with their kids. Kaleos are the follow-up with campers even when back home in their cities. Their week sitting at camp was filled with solid Bible teaching, like Dr. Rene's challenge to them.

It was near the end of a great week, Session 4, and on Thursday, June 28, Rene Rochester brought the word at KAA3’s WHOA Day Church!

Eric Williams asks the question, “Who do we know that we’re growing?” He challenged the Kaleos to maintain intimacy with Christ in spite of the struggles that are faces as followers of Christ because the struggles are precisely what enable us to grow.

Dr. Rene Rochester teaches women to value themselves not only as children of God, but as DAUGHTERS of the King. Dr. Rene emphasizes the importance of valuing the role of women, and that God created men and women uniquely, but equally, to work side by side to fulfill His purposes.

John Scott delivered the sermon at Crosstalk for Session 3, calling kids to count the cost of living their lives for Jesus.

The Flemmings are alumni staff of KAA.  And they returned Session 3 to talk with KAA2's staff and share their story of adopting multiple children.
