Karel Food Friday Milk From Plants Fruit on Fruit And Ember Lessons
Karel Food Friday Milk From Plants Fruit on Fruit And Ember Lessons is a fun way to spend a Friday afternoon. First, Karel goes in to the kitchen as the Planted Host to teach you how to make the basic staple…milk! Yes, unless you are a baby cow your body doesn’t really like cow’s milk. So, you’re going to need an alternative. Lucky for you, there are plenty.
I choose Oat milk as my go-to, but I do use others for different things. I will often use coconut milk instead of dairy in chocolates and desserts; or Ripl, pea milk, for baking because it will curdle with Vinegar added. It’s really up to you, but one thing is sure, you shouldn’t buy it.
All you have to do is follow along.
Start with a great blender. I use the Ninja
Then, take one cup of any nut you’d like, or split peas, and soak them overnight or at least eight hours in three cups of water. No need to soak oatmeal.
When soaked, discard water. Then add three fresh cups for nut milk, four for oat milk to the blender with the nuts or oats. Mix for 30 seconds.
Strain 2x through a T-shirt or nut bag.
Ember Lessons
Ember is now Cleopatra in a land barge as I jog with her in the mornings. Why? Because she can’t do six miles any more, she can do four. So, it’s four. Why? A sports injury in her back right leg, soft tissue. So, she gets treated specially.
But that can teach us all a lesson about healing and how to go about it. If you ask her, she’s fine. If you want to run, she’ll run; play, she’ll play. But she shouldn’t. And some times, in order to heal from something you have to step back even if you don’t want to do it.
Breakfast is Served
