What happens when our first dream doesn't work out? We find our second dream of course ;)
At least that's the wisdom from this week's guest Dyan Dolfi-Offut. After the sudden passing of her mother, Dyan realized at 27 that the dream she once had to make it in Hollywood was no longer the dream she wanted to chase.
Instead, she found her heart calling for PR, the field she had studied all through college.
But how was she able to not only land a job after 5 years of no experience in the field but rise to the top and then go on to start her own company Soda Pop PR a few short years later? Tune into this week's episode of The Big Leap Show to find out...

At the young age 26 this week's guest, Summer Kramer of SUMMERSKIN was diagnosed with melanoma (the deadliest form of skin cancer). While fortunately, she discovered the cancerous mole early enough to treat it, the event itself forever changed her life.
Following surgery and at her dermatologist's recommendation, Summer sought out to buy sun protective clothing to shield herself from the sun's harsh rays. To her terror, she quickly discovered her only options were baggy safari gear, zip-off pants, and floppy hats (thanks, but no thanks).
On a mission to create clothing that would not only protect her skin but also be stylish enough that she would actually want to leave her house, she sought out to create her own clothing line.
How did this boss babe who was trained as a pharmacist go on to create an international clothing brand that has been featured in Elle Magazine, InStyle Magazine, Better Homes and Gardens, and the Today Show to name a few? Tune into this week's episode of The Big Leap Show to find out...

I love me some women that are straight up and real.
Sprinkle that with ambition, a killer wit, and weekly bite-sized YouTube videos on how to build a savvy, smart and oh so sexy business... 🙌 you have me weak in the knees.
For years now I've been following Amy Schmittauer, a YouTuber that is watched every week in over 179 countries with more than 600 episodes accumulating 3 million views.
A few months ago though, she came out with a video that made me love her even more. The video was in response to some video comment trolls (and yes she basically yelled at the camera).
Why? Not to defend herself. Not to send hate back.
Instead, because she knows that fear of rejection and criticism is the main reason people are afraid to hit publish on their videos. Because she knows her viewers are people who, unlike the trolls, are ready to put in the work. And because she wants to make sure any person who is inspired to create a video, does so knowing that even if they only get one view, it was worth it.
How did she build up her confidence to be able to speak her truth and say screw the haters? Tune into this week's episode to find out...

We all have insecurities. Usually, it's easier to hide behind them and pretend they don't exist. But what if we decided to face them head on?
For years, this week's guest struggled with unrealistic body standards. As a dancer in New York, Jenny Gaither felt extreme cultural pressure to look a certain way and fit a certain dress size.
Over time, she found herself falling out of love with dance and movement, and into a battle with anorexia and bulimia.
It wasn't until she found SoulCycle that her world began to shift. It was there in a dark room, with music pumping in the background, where she could move her body freely and sweat like no tomorrow. Inspired, she quickly found herself leaving the dance world behind to pursue a career as a SoulCycle instructor.
Yet, secretly, she still battled her deep insecurities around her body—mainly around what she now lovingly calls her "belly jelly." How did she face her insecurities, build a national movement celebrating our bodies, start a nonprofit, and launch a body-positive curriculum for middle school students?

This week's guest is kicking some serious butt - literally and figuratively.
You see before Lynn Le came along, women boxers all over the world were trying to fit into a man's world. Too often they would use men's gloves that were much too large or children's gloves that were much too small (a modern boxing Goldilocks dilemma if you will).
All that changed when Lynn founded Society Nine, a company on a mission to make the best boxing and MMA gear designed specifically for women in mind.
I was initially drawn to Lynn because Society Nine's gloves are so badass. What I quickly realized as I began talking to her though, is that while her gloves and gear are incredible, it's her drive, passion, and grit that makes this company a serious knockout.

Dream about starting your own business, working from wherever, and never having to put on pants again? Well, you're not alone.
This week's guest Rebecca Tracey of The Uncage Life is the queen of the no-pants party and is on a mission to help as many other business owners create their own freedom lifestyle.
How did she get her start? I'll give you a hint... It included a van, shotty McDonalds WiFi and a whole lot of drive (pun most definitely intended) 😜🚙

What would you do if you found yourself running a $2 million organization as a volunteer on nights and weekends?
For this week's guest, Alaina Percival, this reality hit her smack-dab in the face while she reviewed the annual budget for Women Who Code, a global nonprofit dedicated to helping women enter the tech industry.
How did she make the transition from volunteer to CEO, and what challenges did she face while growing the organization to over 50,000 members in 60 different countries? Tune into this week's episode to find out.
