The Kathy Romano Show

Impractical Jokers star James "Murr" Murray joined The Kathy Romano Show to talk about his upcoming standup show at SoulJoel's in Pottstown, PA this Saturday, June 27th. Tickets are available at www.MurrLive.com.

James "Murr" Murray is a comedian, writer, executive producer, producer, and bestselling author. He grew up on Staten Island and met fellow Jokers Sal Vulcano, Joe Gatto, and Brian "Q" Quinn in high school. Together they formed the comedy troupe The Tenderloins before creating Impractical Jokers. The show premiered in 2011 and became one of cable TV's biggest comedy hits. The concept is simple: lifelong friends compete to embarrass each other in public, with the loser receiving a brutal punishment.

The Kathy Romano Show got to groove with the one and only, @TimTokSherry this morning. Tim and Tolly Sherry are a married couple from the Philadelphia area who have become social media sensations. Married for over 30 years, they gained internet fame after posting videos of their funky fresh dance moves — starting with a mother-son dance at their son Brad's wedding. Their videos are all about positivity, nostalgia, and simply having fun together. We love it, and we love them!

He is currently walking 60+ miles from Borgata in Atlantic City to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in Philly, all to raise money for the Child Life Services Department at CHOP. You can donate at BIG981.com or by texting "CHOP" to 34984.

On the 3rd day of this heat wave our friends at Rita's gave The Kathy Romano Show $25 gift cards to give away to listeners this morning. Brett and Laura were posted up at the Rita's parking lot on Ridge Ave in Conshohocken and listeners had to find them and says the magic words, "Hey Skirrrl! Give me Rita's!"

We were talking about graduations all morning long and Laura casually mentioned how she had her diploma withheld at her high school graduation. Listen to this insane story...

Producer Brett had to go to court on Tuesday for jumping the turnstile at a SEPTA station last month. His court ordered punishment was to do 3 hours of community service but here at Kathy Romano Show, we believe he needs to do more. We asked him to issue a public apology to all police officers and surprised him with an appearance by Sgt. Mike Cerruti.
