The Kayaking & Catfish Roundtable

Ronnie joins me at the Roundtable of kayak catfisherman to talk a little about the many different kayaks he's floated in, catching a 100lb fish out of his kayak, and fishing the Carolina Kayak Catfish Slayers tournament trail.

Jesse and I got so long winded in our conversation I split it up into two episodes for you guys. During this second half of us jabbing away we talk about fishing an online month long tournament for May, cover some good stuff on night fishing from the kayak, the idea of implementing some sort of bounty on a national level, and even a little friendly trash talk amongst good buddies and river rivals. Join in as the fun continues.

For this episode, we invite Jesse "The Warden" ONeal to the Roundtable to hang out and talk about things like where he came from and how he worked his way up through the kayak catfishing world, catching a 109lb blue from kayak, Jesse explains how he runs his in person (live event) tournament trail with Carolina Kayak Catfish Slayers, and we talk a little about braid vs. mono.

As anglers, fishing is always on our minds. So pull your seat up to the round table and join Andrew Green and I as we talk about the chase! In this episode we cover how Andrew took home a 2nd place finish at the first event of the in-person National Kayak Fishing Trail at Nickajack despite facing some unexpected misfortune with forgotten and damaged gear, some night fishing safety tips, a scary situation with a pleasure boater in 50’ of water, and some good memories. #Roundtable #Kayakfishing #Catfishing #Kayakcatfishing #Rigging #Kayaksaftey #Tournamentfishing #Oldtown #NuCanoe #mindset #slimeballs #Adventure #Bucketlist

On this episode I sit down with Ryan Bortz, the winner of the first tournament of the National Kayak Fishing run by Online Catfish Tournaments. We talk about who Ryan is, kayak models and rigging, fishing techniques and strategies, and more. Join in on this Roundtable conversation and see where it goes.

For this episode I bring in Kayak Mike to cover a range of different topics. Join us for some helpful tips and friendly banter as we shoot the crap at the Round Table about everything from the national kayak catfishing tournament trail, to epic bucket list trips! Grab your favorite beverage or tie up some fresh rigs and tune in.

On this episode of The Kayaking & Catfish Roundtable I go on an adventure chasing flatheads with a couple fishing buddies Mike and Josh. We record the first installment of a kayak camping series here on the show. So bait a line, sit back and enjoy the conversation
