Elizabeth O' Reilly from O'Reilly Wallpapers on John St. Kilkenny joins Dermot to talk about the potential changes the proposed 'Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan' for Kilkenny City centre. She explains how the plan could negatively affect the businesses in and around High Street in the city centre, with propsoed changes such as reduced on street parking, delivery depots and pedestrianisation of High St.

Ned Costigan from the Carlow Palestine Solidarity Campaign chats to Brian about on last night’s FAI (08/07/2026) motion to proceed with the upcoming Uefa Nations League fixtures against Israel. The motion passed by 75 votes to 32, having been voted on by 114 general assembly members in attendance (with three abstentions) at Aviva Stadium on Wednesday evening. The match will be played in Serbia.

He talks about the National Digital Wallet entering its next phase as public beta testing begins. The National Digital Wallet is set to begin public beta testing in the coming weeks. The National Digital Wallet is a secure mobile app linked to MyGovID that will allow people to store and present trusted digital credentials safely, giving users greater control over how and when their information is shared

Following the death of Welsh singer/songwriter Bonnie Tyler on Wednesday the 8th of July, Brian spoke to Chris O' Neil. Chris is a songwriter, singer, and actor. He has worked with Bonnie Tyler and got to know her and her husband.

Brian chats to a Chantel O’Neill – is a student in SETU. She is part of the student’s disability advisory panel that works with AHEAD. They are cross border panel to raise issues that students across Ireland have and try and come up with solutions. and she helps students within the college who have disabilities.

Brian chats to Paul Dargan  from Graiguecullen GAA. They have banned escooters and electric bikes on their club ground. They say it is illegal for anyone under the age of 16 to ride these and they do not encourage their young athletes to do so
