Celebrities, influencers, entertainers, athletes, public figures—too many people are giving them the kind of honor, praise, obsession, and emotional worship that belongs to Jesus Christ alone. These people didn’t die for your sins. They didn’t rise from the dead. They can’t heal you, save you, cleanse you, or give you eternal life.

So why are people fainting over them, chasing them, glorifying them, and treating them like gods?

Today’s episode is real personal. I’m breaking down why I no longer celebrate birthdays—not mine, not my wife’s, not my children’s. And no, it ain’t about being difficult. It’s about truth.

📖 The Bible only mentions two birthdays:

• Pharaoh’s — where a man was hanged (Genesis 40:20–22)

• Herod’s — where John the Baptist was beheaded after a sensual dance (Matthew 14:6–11)

That’s not celebration—that’s death and paganism. Ain’t no prophets, apostles, or even Jesus Himself celebrating birthdays. That should tell you something.

💡 Birthdays today = self-worship. Ego. Vainglory. Rituals rooted in Greek, Roman, and occult tradition.

So why are we exalting the day of the flesh, when Jesus said the focus should be on dying to self and living for Him?

When my family threw a surprise birthday party for my mom and asked me to participate, I didn’t go. Not out of spite—but out of conviction. This episode is my response to that. To all who ask why I don’t celebrate birthdays anymore… this is why.

I used to do it. I used to allow it. But once I saw how it was feeding the flesh and not glorifying Jesus, I had to shut it down—for myself and for my kids. As the head of my household, I had to make a stand.

🎂 Birthday cakes, candles, zodiac signs, wishes, attention—it’s all ritual, not righteousness.

So what should you celebrate? Being born again.
What should you give? Thanks to Jesus Christ for every breath you take.
Not your birthdate—but His death and resurrection.
