Dr. Chris Palmer joins the Kent Ingle Podcast for a thought-provoking conversation about faith, philosophy, artificial intelligence, and what happens when society begins to live without God.
Dr. Chris Palmer is the Dean of the Barnett College of Ministry and Theology at Southeastern University and the author of A World Without God: The Search for Meaning in a Society Overwhelmed by Despair. He shares what inspired him to write the book after noticing a growing sense of hopelessness and what he describes as passive nihilism, where people are increasingly living without a clear sense of meaning, purpose, or hope.
The conversation explores how social media, artificial intelligence, and constant access to information are changing the way people think, believe, and engage with the world. Chris explains why having more information than ever before has not necessarily produced greater wisdom or stronger faith, and why pastors and Christian leaders must rethink how they communicate truth to the next generation.
Dr. Palmer and Dr. Kent Ingle also tackle some of today's biggest questions. What happens when God is no longer the foundation of truth and morality? Why are people turning to spirituality, technology, and alternative beliefs to find meaning? And how can Christians share Jesus with a generation that increasingly questions absolute truth?
Chris also reflects on his personal journey of discovering God through Scripture and explains why authentic faith requires more than knowledge. It requires a genuine relationship with Jesus, the power of the Holy Spirit, and a life that demonstrates what we believe.
In this episode, we talk about:
• Why society is struggling to find meaning and purpose
• What passive nihilism is and how it affects our culture
• How social media, AI, and information overload shape our beliefs
• Why more information does not always produce stronger faith
• How pastors can communicate truth in a changing culture
• Why living out your faith is more powerful than winning arguments
• Why younger generations are exploring spirituality and alternative beliefs
• What happens to morality when God is removed from society
• Why Jesus is the foundation of truth, meaning, and purpose
• How Scripture and the Holy Spirit transform lives
If you have ever questioned your purpose, struggled to understand what is true, or wondered how to live out your faith in today's culture, this conversation is a reminder that lasting meaning and purpose are ultimately found in Jesus Christ.

Mark Batterson joins the Kent Ingle Podcast for an honest conversation about faith, leadership, artificial intelligence, prayer, spiritual discernment, and his new book, Not My Circus: Living with Courage, Conviction, and Compassion in a World of Chaos.
Mark shares why the fear of God is the only cure for the fear of people and how Christians can stand firm in their convictions without losing compassion for others. Drawing from Romans 12:2, he explains why believers must resist the pressure to conform to popular opinion, political expectations, and cultural trends while continuing to lead with grace and truth.
The conversation also explores how artificial intelligence is changing writing, education, creativity, and ministry. Mark reflects on his journey from struggling with writing to becoming a New York Times bestselling author, why developing your own skills still matters in an age of AI, and why spiritual discernment is becoming increasingly important as technology continues to advance.
Mark also shares what he has learned from leading National Community Church in Washington, D.C., including navigating politically charged environments, finding creative ways to serve the community, and building a church that reaches people beyond its walls. He explains why the Church must continue adapting and innovating without losing its commitment to prayer, discipleship, and the work of the Holy Spirit.
The conversation becomes especially personal as Mark reflects on a prayer walk around Capitol Hill nearly 30 years ago, when his church had just 13 people. He shares how that moment shaped his understanding of bold prayers, God's faithfulness, and the importance of seeking God's will rather than simply asking Him to fulfill our plans.
In this episode, we talk about:
• Why the fear of God is the cure for the fear of people
• The message behind Mark Batterson's new book, Not My Circus
• How to stand firm in your convictions without compromising compassion
• Why Jesus modeled the perfect balance of grace and truth
• How artificial intelligence is changing writing, education, and ministry
• Why spiritual discernment and critical thinking matter more than ever
• What Mark has learned from pastoring in Washington, D.C.
• Why churches must think creatively about reaching their communities
• How prayer and the Holy Spirit shape effective leadership
• The story behind Mark's prayer walk around Capitol Hill
• Why believers must prioritize prayer in an increasingly technological world
• How Christians can navigate political division without compromising their faith
If you are navigating cultural pressure, struggling to lead with both truth and compassion, or wondering how to remain grounded in your faith in a rapidly changing world, this conversation is a reminder that courage and conviction must always be accompanied by compassion. You do not have to follow the crowd to make a difference, and you do not have to compromise your faith to love people well.

Vance Roush joins the Kent Ingle Podcast for a conversation about generosity, technology, entrepreneurship, and what can happen when leaders identify and remove the barriers keeping people from giving. Vance shares how his experience in technology and ministry led him to recognize a major problem with giving stock and eventually create Overflow.
Vance explains how a complicated stock donation process created unnecessary friction for people who wanted to be generous. After creating a simpler way for people to give stock online, 32 people used the platform and $1.1 million was raised in just three days. What began as a solution for one church eventually became something Vance believed could serve the Kingdom of God on a much larger scale.
The conversation also explores the future of generosity, why churches should embrace innovation, the danger of allowing money to become an idol, and why successful entrepreneurs should focus on solving meaningful problems instead of chasing trends. Vance challenges leaders to think differently about technology, wealth, generosity, and the eternal purpose behind the resources God has entrusted to them.
In this episode, we talk about:
• How Vance Roush went from working at Google to serving in ministry and founding Overflow
• The problem Vance discovered with giving stock to churches
• How removing friction helped raise $1.1 million in three days
• Why technology can unlock unprecedented amounts of generosity
• Why churches should think differently about innovation and the giving experience
• The danger of allowing money and mammon to become an idol
• How generosity connects people with eternal purpose
• Why entrepreneurs should solve real problems instead of chasing trends
• How Vance views Overflow as both a business and a ministry
• Why your burden and the problem you are called to solve matter in entrepreneurship
If you are a pastor, ministry leader, entrepreneur, business leader, or someone who wants to become more intentional with generosity, this conversation is a reminder that innovation can serve a Kingdom purpose. Sometimes the opportunity is not convincing people to care more. It is identifying the barrier standing between their desire to make an impact and their ability to act on it.

Alex Seeley joins the Kent Ingle Podcast for an honest conversation about the Holy Spirit, hearing God, wilderness seasons, revival, and what God is doing in the next generation.
Alex shares why so many Christians believe in the Holy Spirit but struggle to understand who He is, how He speaks, and how to actually walk with Him every day. She explains why the Holy Spirit should not be treated as something mysterious to avoid, but as a Person believers can know, trust, and commune with.
The conversation also becomes deeply personal as Alex reflects on leaving a thriving ministry season with Planetshakers in Australia and moving to the United States after believing God told her family to go. When doors did not immediately open, Alex found herself questioning whether they had heard God correctly. She shares how that wilderness season stripped away her identity, position, and expectations and taught her what it meant to be satisfied with God alone.
Alex also talks about the gifts and fruit of the Holy Spirit, discerning genuine moves of God, the role of revival in the Church, and why she believes the next generation is hungry for more than simply going through the motions of church.
In this episode, we talk about:
• Who the Holy Spirit is and how believers can know Him
• Why the Holy Spirit is more than speaking in tongues
• The difference between the fruit and gifts of the Spirit
• How the Holy Spirit helps believers understand Scripture
• What to do when God feels silent in a wilderness season
• How Alex Seeley learned to separate her identity from ministry
• How to know if you really heard God
• How to discern revival and genuine moves of God
• What Alex believes God is doing in the Church right now
• Why the next generation is hungry for the power of the Holy Spirit
• Why character, integrity, skill, and spiritual power all matter in developing young leaders
If you are trying to understand the Holy Spirit, questioning whether you heard God correctly, or walking through a season where God feels distant, Alex’s story is a reminder that the Holy Spirit is not someone believers are meant to avoid. He is present, He speaks, He leads, and He is actively forming believers to become more like Jesus.

Levi Lusko joins the Kent Ingle Podcast for an honest conversation about calling, identity, revival, grief, and finding God in the middle of unimaginable pain.
Levi shares how beginning ministry at a young age shaped him, and how being known as a young preacher became more connected to his identity than was healthy. He also reflects on what he sees God doing among Gen Z and Gen Alpha through movements of worship, revival, and young people choosing Jesus.
The conversation becomes deeply personal as Levi opens up about losing his five year old daughter just days before Christmas. He shares what happened in those final moments, how grief changed his life, and the truth he wants anyone walking through pain to know: God sees you, God is with you, and you have permission to hurt.
In this episode, we talk about:
• How Levi Lusko began preaching as a teenager
• What happens when your calling becomes your identity
• Why Levi believes God is moving powerfully among Gen Z and Gen Alpha
• What he sees happening through revival and worship movements
• The heartbreaking loss of his daughter
• How faith survives unimaginable grief
• Why people in pain need permission to actually grieve
• How to recognize God’s presence in your hardest season
If you are walking through grief, questioning your identity, or trying to understand what God is doing in the next generation, Levi’s story is a reminder that your pain does not mean God has left you. He sees you, He is present, and He will help you keep moving forward.

She shares how rejection, health challenges, and unexpected seasons shaped her journey, along with why staying rooted in community and keeping Jesus at the center matters in every season.

Austin Rogers joins the Framework Leadership Podcast to share how faith has shaped his journey from Southeastern University to law, public service, and a run for Congress. He discusses his experience working in Washington, helping shape major legislation, protecting children, and leading with conviction. Austin also opens up about sharing his faith on the campaign trail and why serving God remains at the center of his leadership, no matter the outcome.
In this episode, I am joined by Doug Witherup who breaks down the Edenic Covenent and how the first words from Jesus to us was to multiply. The devil gives us an alternative, addition by subtraction or subtraction by addition. Tune in to hear the importance of spoken scripture over our lives and why multiplication is so important.
