The Center has created coupons for the four locations that allow buyers to take a dollar off any purchase of $10 or more of fruit and vegetables. All four stores will offer free samples on select dates, and those remaining dates are: February 16 at Gutierrez (1131 Lee Street) and February 17 at Bill's (308 West 19th Street).
In March, each location will have a mystery snack on one day for kids to enjoy after school.
Bidiam W. Michael owns Bob's Food Market in Latonia and on March 15 will have samples of hot and healthy soup between 5:30 - 7 p.m. He and Esarey visited The River City News Podcast Studio to talk more about the Healthy Corner Stores initiative.
