How are believers in Jesus to interact with each other? By serving one another. Yeah, it's not about you after all!

We're on our second week of Be's and Don’t's, and today we explore the ramifications of being devoted to one another, which leaves no room for complaints.

There is no room for envy when we learn to accept one another. We kind of get the envy part, but what does it mean to accept a person? Is toleration the same thing? If so, what are we tolerating? Good convo, worth the listen!

Meet Nate Fox. A man saved by God, spiritually. And a man saved by God physically. How does a Christian - a believer in Jesus face death? And maybe more importantly, how does a believer face life?

Be at peace with one another. Don't grumble among one another.

There could be a 75 different ways to categorize the One Another commands, these two weeks will be a little random in that we are going to pair up positive “Be” instruction with some “Don’t” instruction.

There is something very special about the church (the body of Christ). Like an organism, when all is healthy, all is good. When the different organism components start misbehaving acting contrary to the best of the organism, it’s bad. The New Testament is full of instruction for the members of the church in how they treat each other. Sometimes they are expressed as “one another” statements.

Until the Lord Jesus returns, God did something pretty amazing that has never happened to such a magnitude in all of human history. Jesus made good on his promise and left a Helper – the Holy Spirit, who indwells every believer. And the communities where God rests and rules is – the church. Today we discover the implications of this amazing truth!

Here’s where things get interesting. We’ve seen that all of creation was God’s temple until the Fall. We see the imagery of the tabernacle constructed under Moses, we learn that Jesus IS the temple, but there will come a day when all of creation will be God’s temple once more. Wowza! Let’s investigate that monumental claim!
