Spiritual victory requires faith, but not the amount of faith we think—just a mustard seed's worth is enough when placed in Jesus. The disciples failed to heal the boy not because they lacked sufficient faith, but because they stopped relying on God and began trusting in their own abilities, forgetting to pray and ask God to do what only He can do. The victorious Christian life is simply cultivating prayer as a rhythm, responding in faith to whatever God brings to our attention, and actively participating in the work He's already doing.
