In this episode, we’re getting real about the truth God confronted me with: you cannot keep wavering between God’s truth and the lies that your wounds whisper to you.
We’re looking at 1 Kings 18:16–21, where Elijah asks the question that exposes every lukewarm and double-minded place in us: “How long will you waver between two opinions?” This question hits different when you realize most of our hesitation & fear is really us choosing wounded opinions over God’s truth.
Here’s what I’m breaking down in this episode:
• The Two Opinions: Why you can’t follow God fully while still entertaining the voice of fear, insecurity, and old hurt.
• When God Feels Like Control: Why surrender feels uncomfortable when you’ve spent years letting people influence you — and how to tell the difference between God’s protection and human manipulation.
• The Walls Offense Built: How holding onto offense creates a prison, filters God’s instructions through fear, and keeps you stuck in cycles you prayed to get out of.
• Dead Sea vs. Galilee Living: What happens when you only receive but can’t give — and why offense slowly drains the life out of everything God tries to pour into you.
• Choosing Today: Why breakthrough requires a decision, not a feeling. And how choosing God’s truth over your wounds shifts everything — fast.
So this week, I’m challenging you to look at the places where you’re still giving your wounds a voice. Where are you wavering? What walls are blocking the very thing you’ve been praying for? And most importantly — what would your life look like if you finally chose God’s truth… all the way?
