Playwright, poet, producer, off-Broadway producer, mentor, and educator Ina Norris stopped by by to talk about her journey of becoming, and succeeding as a playwright and director. The Bronx, NY native is a community coordinator who mentors inner city youth through her organization NYC Young Producers Project where she writes and produces to educate youth about life through theater. Her debut play "Nobody Loves a Black Little Girl When She Becomes A Woman," was an examination through the experiences of a Black woman. Norris is a New York Foundation Fellow Playwright (2002) and a Poetry Society winner of the Editors’ Choice Award.
