We can all agree that there comes a time when one must pass the torch to this new young generation of hip hop pioneers, although like our special guests Tour Dj (Lil Uzi Vert) Dj PForreal, and NY native rapper T Bruin, Sip and Dani all feel that this music scene runs 360 and always repeats itself. The artist are live, yet the genre may be different. You see rap yet hear pop. Who sells out the Garden now?

Nas is the God, we can all agree? But do we feel that Ye didn't deliver and give us another "Illmatic"? And did the Carters take his shine? Sip and Dani talked about those topics and more with returning guests Thee Tiffany Rose and new guest (and Nicki Minaj expert) Frank came and gave us his (mainly his) views on just that... Nicki. You can either hate her or love her. But this album though.... will the QUEEN deliver?

The KCBK trio linked up this week to discuss the latest bids and bids of celebrity entertainment, news, and music with a Motley Crue of guests including performing percussionist Daz, up and coming model, rapper Mississippi native Mercy, and OG stylist/creative Thee Tiffany Rose. Majority in the room had to give Ye his producer creds, while others main concern was about the greatest rapper alive Weezy and if the Carter V will happen.

All is fair in rap beef and there are NO RULES in hip hop. However, even during controversy and chaos, schemes and gimmicks, we forget what's important; the truth and general positive shit. Also, returning guests Dj Blakboy fresh off tour with Playboi Carti and supergroup NEDLOG (formerly NEDLOG ERA) came and blessed us with the release of their new project "Spectrum", recognizing high quality rap music should be the only PUSH in this hip hop world as we know it.

You know that one party where you're thinking the next day like "Damn! Did that really happen?!" Well it did! Special guest WORLD FAMOUS Swamp Izzo came and put the KCBK trio in their bag and got DEEP into industry standards and secrets, that the DJ is just as important as the artist if not equal because he IS the show, how money rules and powers everything that goes on. Oh, and black people are racist within the Black race. Old Kanye shrug*.

It got live in this episode of The Kickback and you have to show love to one of the greatest places on earth... the strip club. Known for being the place to break the hottest music as well as where Drake found most of his love interests, no one can deny the influence it has on the culture of hip-hop yet the entertainment industry taints and misconstrues what should remain as a "fantasy world". Singer, songwriter, and dancer Jaché was a special guest with her coming up story, her love and passion for music, and how life and its many jobs have made her the strong woman she is today and the amazing artist she is on the rise to becoming.
