Today’s topic is Disordered Eating and I am talking with Page Love of Nutrifit. Page is a dietician who focuses on providing nutrition consulting for lifetime wellness. She offers education and nutrition therapy for eating disorders as well as recreational and elite athletes. I decided I wanted to feature disordered eating on the podcast when I heard the statistic that eating disorder diagnoses in children have risen 80% during the pandemic. Page walks me through all the signs to look for in your child, as well as covering an eating disorder most parents don’t know about, ARFID. This is really helpful information, I hope you enjoy it!

Michelle Harris is a friend from my hometown. I was able to witness her journey since high school, through her addiction, and now her more than 5 years in recovery. Her strength blew me away. She talks transparently about what it is like to regain your relationships with your children after addiction has torn them apart. She also talks about what it was like to have her baby girl a few months ago and be a sober, healthy mom from the start for the first time. 

Karen Anderson is the artist and genius behind Tiny Doors ATL. Tiny Doors ATL is an Atlanta-based art project bringing big wonder to tiny spaces in Atlanta and beyond. She is my personal favorite artist so to get to feature her on my podcast was a dream come true! We are talking about how she is the ultimate late bloomer - not starting college until her 30s and having a winding and looping path to what we all know her as today, one of Atlanta’s most well-known artists.
