For those not currently serving in children's ministry, it can be hard. Be encouraged. You are not alone; God has you right where He needs you.

Just because you're using a Christian resource in ministry, doesn't mean that it lines up with the Word. Make sure each and everything you use in ministry (and at home) is teaching theological truth.

How welcoming is your church? Do families feel welcomed? After visiting a few churches, hear some do's and don't when it comes to being visitor friendly.

Do you ever find yourself doing the exact same thing in ministry, year after year? Take up the challenge and try something new. Get ideas on how to measure success. And plan with intentionality. 

After 16 or so years of taking kids to summer camp, I still believe in the importance of it. Make sure you are prepared for camp this summer, not just with supplies, but with a purpose in mind. 

Are you being authentically you in ministry? Are real relationships able to form because you are genuine? Be the you that God has called you to be; it matters.
