In the fall of 1989, 11 year old Jacob Wetterling, his friend, and his little brother set out from the Wetterling home on their bikes to a local store to rent a movie to watch. On their way back home, they were confronted by a masked man with a gun, who let the friend and Jacob's little brother go, but kidnapped Jacob. Almost 30 years later, the Wetterling family finally gets the answers they've always wanted.
