Let's face it. We are living in one of the most difficult eras that our nation has ever had to endure in a long time. Money is scarce, mental health is becoming an issue amongst millions of Americans, food, rent, gas, and healthcare prices are through the roof, and we feel like we have no choice but to suffer through it and take it on the chin as we try to balance it all. Doesn't that seem a little unordinary? Is it normal to live everyday in constant misery, despair and high stress, mixed with the deadly cocktail of depression and anxiety? What if I told you that there was a way to free yourself of it all? Your worries... Your depression... Your anxiety... What if I told you that you've had the answers all along?
Let's talk about it...
As a music creator, I know firsthand the struggles that come with depression, self-doubt, and anxiety. These mental health issues can feel overwhelming, and can even affect your ability to create music. On this episode, I share my struggles with and I hope to inspire you to find your spark again. Depression can be a major stumbling block for music creators, and it's important to know that you are not alone. As music creators, we are often our own worst critics, so much so to the point where we inhibit our own creativity and progress. However, when you have anxiety it can be crippling, and the pressure to create great music can only make those feelings worse. Join us on this episode of The Kii's of Life, as we address the mental health issues that can come with being a music creator.
