In August of 2018, Cory had a tumor the size of a football. He was a week away from a massive stroke and his doctor gave him 30 days to live. "You watch my God do a miracle," Cory told his Doctor as she delivered the diagnosis. Cory was miraculously healed by the third round of chemotherapy and had completed 6 rounds of chemotherapy in total. Pamela Evischi. I was a girl next door, a wife, mother, entrepreneur, and high school sex-ed teacher. I was a people pleaser and "good" girl who settled, played small and stayed in her box of religious and close-minded self-control. I was blessed with a loving and healthy family and good life, yet; there was a longing for something more I kept pushing down. I was going through the motions and sleepwalking through life. When I was thirty-three, I had a wake-up call and traded in my everyday, mundane life for an extraordinary and mysterious one.

The Lord brought me to my knees in repentance out of a gay lifestyle and laundry list of addictions 11 years ago, gave me peace, new life and fulfilling purpose.

Having founded a nonprofit, today I am a missionary, based in Cambodia (next to Vietnam). Primarily I share my story and the life-changing gospel of Jesus Christ with the LGBTQ and help churches reach out to them.
