The King Has Come- Luke 19:28-40

In Luke 19:28-40, Jesus enters to Jerusalem triumphantly as the coming King, riding on a donkey in fulfillment of the prophecy. The arrival of the King Jesus is marked by the people rejoicing and praising Him with loud voice, saying, “Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!” (v. 38). Through this act, He invites all to recognize His kingship. Therefore, Jesus Christ is the Promised King who comes with authority and displays His mighty works so that His people would draw near to Him to offer the highest worship and glory to His name.
