The King in All His Beauty - Isaiah 6:1-8

During the time when Judah has earned significant achievement economically and politically under King Uzziah was also when they have already lost sight of the true vision of God and His kingdom. Worse, they have become autonomous, arrogant, will-powered, and self-glorifying. There is no fear of judgment from Yahweh in their eyes (5:17) until much later on when their beloved King Uzziah finally received it when he died (6:1).
Despite all these, It was also then when Isaiah saw the Lord in all his glory as the supreme King whose holiness is perfectly righteous, and theirs not. Yet in his confession, he, all the same, received grace and gave himself for the Lord and His kingdom as his grateful response. In, Isaiah 6:1-8, it is constantly communicated that God’s kingdom is advanced with those who are humbled by the vision of God in all His glory.
