In another of Luke's remarkable recollections of Jesus's ministry as he journeys towards the cross, Jesus proves himself to be king of spirits, expelling a demon and healing a man rendered mute. He is king over all he has made, restoring speech to the formerly possessed man's imprisoned tongue.
