In this episode of Coffee with the Superintendent, we reflect on 1 Samuel 11:1–11, where Nahash the Ammonite threatened to disgrace Israel, and God raised up Saul to deliver His people. Through this moment, we see a powerful foreshadowing of Jesus Christ, the true King who delivers us from sin and shame and unites us in His Spirit. In our Second Pour, we celebrate Leighton in 3rd grade on her birthday, enjoy today’s lunch of tacos, and highlight our athletes as Middle School and Varsity Volleyball teams and our Varsity Soccer team travel to O’Neal, while Cross Country hosts a meet right here on campus. It’s a reminder that whether in Scripture, in our classrooms, or on the field, God is faithful to provide deliverance and strength.
