If we’re honest, many of us have a little bit of the instinct in us to want to call down a little bit of fire from heaven.

That voice that says:

“God, just deal with them.”
“God, shut them down.”
“God, show them who’s right.”

That desire for divine backup… divine force… divine fire.

But what if that instinct is exactly what Jesus came to confront?

Why does the Bible sometimes look so violent?

You serve because you’re full.
