We all know The Apostles.  Church history professes we believe in an Apostolic Church and early writings speak of these men in the past tense.  However, since 2001, it has been announced and proclaimed that God has brought back and restored this office.  In this episode, Marcuss takes a look through the Scriptures and the early historical writings of the church.  What are the qualifications for being an Apostle?  What's the purpose and function of this office and does it exist today?

This episode is a sermon from April 8, 2018, by Marcuss at his church.  It's kind of an Easter number 2 message or Easter 2.0 if you will.  The focus is on how the resurrection is central to what we believe and our Christian Faith from 1 Corinthians 15.  Then the moments right before Jesus' death and after His resurrection are looked at to help gain a better understanding of what is happening from the Gospel of John chapters 19 and 20.  Enjoy!

Scripture interprets itself and helps tell the story better and show just how much bigger it is.  That is certainly the case with Jesus and the meaning to all that He did in His ministry.  From the tassels of His garment, how the public received Him, to how some rejected Him and His reenacting the Hebrew Scriptures.

If you've ever heard someone teaching that Jesus "emptied Himself", "laid His divinity to the side" or was "just a mere man", then you've heard the doctrine of Kenosis or the Kenotic Theory.  This is something more common today and falls flat on its face when put against other Scripture that clearly teaches the Hypo-Static Union of Jesus.
