We are reminded of God's omniscience; how his knowledge is far and beyond any of ours. As impactful as that reality is; according to his character and goodness, this provides comfort for the believer

We are reminded of God’s mercy to us; it is undeserved, unmerited, and not at all what we deserve, but it serves as a clear picture of the gospel to us.

We are reminded of God’s presence in our lives; whether high or low, he will never abandon those He loves.
