Jesus encounters a blind beggar named Bartimaeus and he declares his faith in Christ and asks for his sight to be restored.

Unlike the world we live in, followers of Christ take the opportunity to serve those entrusted to them. We follow the example of Jesus who, “came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

A young man thinks that his acts of righteousness should secure him eternal life. Jesus reveals the duplicity of the young man’s heart by instructing him

The Pharisees seek to trap Jesus in asking about divorce. Jesus responds by pointing to God’s ultimate plan and desire for marriage since the beginning.

The disciples argue about who was the “greatest” among them. Jesus takes the opportunity to teach them about humility, service to others and the gravity of sin.

Jesus encounters a desperate father with imperfect faith. Jesus heals the father's demon-possessed son and teaches the disciples and us, what it means to have a more robust faith.
