Exodus reveals salvation as a journey from slavery to freedom, where God delivers His people by grace, not their own effort. Just as Israel was freed from Egypt, believers are freed from sin through Christ and called into a lifelong process of transformation. Faith in God, not works, brings redemption, while obedience, reliance on His Word, and the Holy Spirit sustain growth, strengthen believers, and lead them into lasting freedom, holiness, and deeper relationship with Him.

When we truly discover the Kingdom of God and our identity in Christ we should also see that God desires to have a close relationship with us. Knowledge alone cannot save or develop us, but an intimate relationship with Christ is just as important. In John 10, Jesus declares himself to be the shepherd of His sheep and paints the picture of a God who longs for us to know His personal voice. The apostle Paul, in answering the question of whether we should continue to live in sin because God's grace covers us, responds: "of course not!” Christians can, and do fall into sin; but as Paul tells us, we should not be 'enslaved' to it.
