S20- E28: Coaches Corner- Jim Myllala

Jim is a 1985 graduate of Escanaba High School where he played football, basketball, and golf. Jim received a scholarship to play golf at Glen Oaks College. After one year he transferred to NMU, graduating in 1989. Cach Myllala has coached basketball, football, and golf at Kingsford since 1991.

The Flivver Freshman played the Bark River-Harris JV and lost 20-13 JV Flivvers traveled to Gladstone and took a victory 37-7 Gladstone came to town on Friday and the Flivver Varsity beat them 30-28

All three teams played Marquette this week. The Freshman and the Varsity dropped tough games that were defensive slugfests! The JV’s played in a downpour and came out on top with a victory!

All three teams were supposed to play Escanaba, but that fell through. There were a few “maybe” games that just didn’t work out, until the NORWAY KNIGHTS came to town!  

This week all three teams will take on the Marquette Redmen!

Week "ONE" of the 2020 football season happend in the slot designated as Week "FOUR" if we had looked at the schedule a year ago.

Either way, all three teams were able to play, and all three teams came away with a  victory!
