In Episode 1, Carolyn Peat from Auckland and Elise Lonsdale from Melbourne interview Pauline Melham who is the Manager of Disability Support Services at a Christchurch tertiary institution. Pauline talks about her life before the Covid-19 lockdown in New Zealand and how her life has been affected during the lockdown. She also tells us how her and her husband are dealing with the changes as New Zealand opens up again. Pauline tells us about students now having to learn on line rather than in the classroom and how she as a vision impaired manager now deals with the speed of the Internet, how her computer works and how her access technology behaves. Pauline also expresses her concerns for her family and friends back in the United Kingdom.
