The TKAP Crew scratch the surface of Eastern and Western family stereotypes and we discuss the benefits and downsides to each style. We share how our parents have shaped us and how difficult it is to raise the "ideal family". Join us on our reflections as we also look into our views on parenting our future families.
Follow us on instagram @thekiwiasianpodcast and contribute to the discussion by sharing your own family experiences.
Are you afraid of the dark? How about germs? Clowns? Or... BUTTERFLIES!?
The TKAP Crew take an introspective look at some of our fears and phobias. Listen to the events from our past which may have been the origin of our current fears. We explore the common and uncommon phobias that lie underneath the surface of our day-to-day lives.
Follow us on instagram @thekiwiasianpodcast and share some of your rational (or irrational) fears.
In an ideal world, your SO and BFF will meet and instantly hit it off. Then you can travel through life together as a tight-knit trio. However, this is not an ideal world and complications may soon arise between the "love of your life" and your "ride-or-die partner".
Join TKAP as we share their thoughts on the relationship dynamics between significant SO's and BFF's. At what stage does your SO become your BFF? And how do you settle tensions between the two, especially when they are of the same gender.
Follow us on instagram @thekiwiasianpodcast and share your thoughts.
The TKAP Crew sit down and chat about our past "Quarter-Life Crisis" moments. Whether they are big or small, they have shaped us as adults. We discuss our own perception of crises during our young adult lives and talk about we overcame or managed them.
Follow us on instagram @thekiwiasianpodcast and let us know some things you have battled through in your early-late 20's.

We made it! The team reviews season 1 of "The Kiwi Asian Podcast", we also share some of our thoughts on entering the world of podcasting and also look back at some of our favourite episodes. We discuss some potential plans for the future of TKAP and mention some of the topics we would like to record or revisit in the future. Perhaps even a guest appearance from our audience.
The Kiwi Asian Podcast would like to thank all of our listeners for joining us on this fun journey. It was awesome to see your support towards a group of young Kiwi-Asians exploring something new while in lock-down.
We will be taking a small break from releasing episodes, but show some love and support by following us on instagram @thekiwiasianpodcast where you will find updates on our future projects and episodes.
TV Shows. They make us laugh, cry, and think.
The Kiwi Asian Podcast team brings you a few of our top TV show recommendations. Some are hit shows like "Brooklyn Nine-Nine", while others are more questionable, like the final season of "How I Met Your Mother". We provide a range of genre recommendations from crime to K-drama and more! With so many great TV shows to watch, we weren't able to get through all of our favourite shows. Don't worry though, we will continue this topic in another future episode.

Bucket List: a number of experiences or achievements that a person hopes to have or accomplish during their lifetime. Or... things you want to do before you "kick the bucket".
Ka Yiu, Jonathan, Celeste and Michael talk about their top bucket list items. Ka Yiu dreams of travel, while Michael wants to sharpen his musical skills. Celeste ticks off marriage and kids by looking forward to having grand-kids in the future, and Jonathan is looking forward to space travel and tech.

In this episode Ka Yiu, Celeste and Michael explore common Asian superstitions aka. WeChat Legends.
From leg shaking to how you hold chopsticks, and everything in-between. Are these ingenious ways to control bad behaviour or just sketchy traditions? We delve into these superstitions, how they may have been concocted and which ones we tend to follow. Does Michael know any of these WeChat Legends? What does Celeste think about green hats? And which WeChat Legend has Ka Yiu been adhering to recently?

Pet peeves. Those weirdly specific things that really get under our skin for (sometimes) strange reasons. "Needs to be clean before being on a bed", "people who are ALWAYS late", "people who don't try hard enough" and "friends who bail when they see the guest list"
In this episode, the group talks about our own pet peeves and try to reason them as being rational to one another. Discover what bothers Michael, Ka Yiu, Celeste and Jonathan the most, and whether we relate with one another or not. We also mention some habits we have that others might find annoying.
