Had my first sessions with my new to me Wilson Staff 8806 putter.  Had a moment to tinker on trying to maintain my putting stroke follow through at impact.

Came out to Thunder Valley National at Whitney Oaks and had a good session putting with only 1 putter.  My Wilson Tour Special III with new MVP putter grip.

Stopped in at Sacramento National to use the putting green and it ended up being like I was watching an episode of Seinfeld or Curb Your Enthusiasm.

I couldn't believe what I saw in a discount bargain bin.

I am glad that I tried a new new MVP putter grip on my Wilson Tour Special III putter:

Here is a link to the grip I bought on Amazon.

Fed up with trying to figure out offsetted putters.  I can’t figure them out and do best with putters with no offset.  Should I call them “onset” putters ?

Drove out to Bodega Harbour Golf Links to putt on their putting green and make videos with my restored TeI3 putter.

Enjoyed the cool weather and thinking out loud about putting and the special feeling in the hands.  I might have to convert to another golf ball after this visit.  Thinking of the trying the Srixon Q Star Ultispeed.

Commited more putter adultery when I was out collecting on a hot Saturday in August while missing the Holiday Inn Championship on the PGA Tour.

I think any off brand milled putter is better than most mass produced putters.  Even better than any stainless steel ping putter.

Saw and heard the Ferrari 599 that was parked at a used dealer on the road after leaving Sacramento National.

Hope you’re well.
Thanks for listening Mr Childs!

Got to watch a bit of the 3rd round of the final Rocket Mortgage Classic from the newly renovated Detroit Golf Club.  It’s the final year this venue will host a PGA Tour event.

Looking forward to this week in 2027 when the PGA Tour goes back to Silverado in Napa.
