The last half of the show The Knee Jerks will cover the latest news in Detroit sports, including the jokes that were the NHL All-Star Game and the NFL Pro Bowl, the ridiculousness that was the NHL All-Star Game "draft," talk a little Super Bowl, making our picks for the game, the Lions' LB Zack Follett calling QB Matthew Stafford and "china doll," could Vlad Guerrero interest the Tigers, and the Wolverines finally beating the Spartans on the playing field...or in this case, the on court of the Breslin Center.

The Knee Jerks will then move on the latest in Detroit sports, including Lions' announcing Matthew Stafford's surgery, the Tigers finally announcing they will retire Sparky Anderson's number (after his death a few months ago), the Red Wings signing, then losing, free agent goalie Evgeni Nabokov, who won't report to the team that claimed him, the Islanders, and the continuing Rip Hamilton drama with the Pistons.

At 7:30, Matt Hutter makes his bi-weekly visit to the podcast to talk all things Red Wings. (Matt's Red Wings Bleacher Report columns can be found here and is @MaHutter12 on Twitter.) Michael and Matt will spend the next half hour breaking down the latest Red Wings news, from the crazy rash of injuries, Nick Lidstrom being the only Wing to make the All-Star team and give their mid-season grades.

After the Red Wings roundtable, Eno and Al will move on the latest in Detroit sports, including the Tigers signing Brad Penny and Joel Zumaya, and the craziness going on with the Pistons, with Rip Hamilton's string of DNP-CD and Tayshaun Prince calling John Kuester's benching of Hamilton "buffoonery."

There's the University of Michigan's ongoing coaching search, with LSU's Les Miles to meet with AD Dave Brandon on Tuesday, the Pistons possibly being part of one of the biggest blockbuster trades in NBA history and unloading Rip Hamilton (and more importantly, his contract) in the process, the Tigers' rumored interest in signing Brad Penny to join the starting rotation, the Flames' Tom Kostopoulos getting a 6-game suspension for cheap shot hit on the Red Wings' Brad Stuart, who will miss the next 6-8 weeks with a broken jaw, and tonight's BCS National Championship game between Auburn and Oregon.
