The Knives Monroe Podcast episodes
- not just eternity, but infinityA thousand years is but an instant. There's nothing new, nothing different; same pattern over and over. The same clouds, same music, the same things I felt an hour or an eternity ago. There's nothing here for me now, nothing at all. Now I remember, this happened to me before. This is why I left. You have begun to find your answers. Although it will seem difficult the rewards will be great. Exercise your human mind as fully as possible knowing that it is only an exercise. Build beautiful artifacts, solve problems, explore the secrets of the physical universe, savor the input from all the senses, filled with joy and sorrow and laughter, empathy, compassion, and tote the emotional memory in your travel bag. I remember where I came from, and how I became human, why I hung around, and now my final departure's scheduled. This way out, escaping velocity. Not just eternity, but Infinity.Knives Monroe vs. The Podcast is a DAILY reminder, a creativity confirmation, committed to sharing the secrets and stories behind independent artists and creators.Links To My Everything: https://linktr.ee/knivesmonroeApple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast...Buy Me A Cup of Coffee- https://ko-fi.com/knivesmonroeSpotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/0PPHuIv...Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/knivesmonroeYoutube: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list...Medium: https://link.medium.com/Yg4XQAC3Y2Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/knivesmonroe/Discord: https://discordapp.com/channels/@knivesmonroeTwitch: https://www.twitch.tv/knivesmonroeTikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@knivesmonroeFacebook: www.facebook.com/KnivesMonroeINDIE DARLINGS 2020COPYRIGHT INDIE DARLINGS LLCALL RIGHTS RESERVED#KnivesMonroevsThePodcast #DailyPodcast #IndieDarlings1 min

- YOU COULD BE MAKING FILMSIt’s what you want to do. Directing actors, composing shots, editing sequences- THATS HOME.But it’s difficult. If it wasn’t everyone would be making films. But aren’t they? This persons busy, has the fancy new camera., is getting paid to travel around the world. Why can’t that be me? Well It’s because you’re wasting your fucking time. Why was productivity easier when I was younger? It’s because they hadn’t broke your fucking spirit yet. When you’re young you just move. You’re hungry. You’re a shark You have something to prove. You have something to say. What do you have to say now?Start with an idea. You write it down. A funny scene. A thoughtful character. A theme you can get behind. You need to get inspired, you need momentum. Just get out of your head.Write the thing. Cast the thing. Table read. Film the thing, it’s a marathon not a sprint, actually it’s a sprint fuck it. Whatever get the shot!Okay. I made a movie. Now what? Where does it go? Film festivals? Been there done that. Twitch? Amazon Prime? All this just for a blu ray?Why did I want to make this in the first place? Who was my audience? It’ll never be as important to them as it was to you. So what’s it all mean? What’s the point? The melancholy is setting in. You should have hugged everybody the night you wrapped. It’s over now. In those moments we were living the dream.I had it. I lost it. What’s next? You could be making a films. It’s what you want to do.Links To My Everything: linktr.ee/knivesmonroeApple Podcasts: podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast...Spotify: open.spotify.com/show/0PPHuIv...Soundcloud: @knivesmonroeYoutube: www.youtube.com/playlist?list...Medium: link.medium.com/Yg4XQAC3Y2Instagram: www.instagram.com/knivesmonroe/Discord: discordapp.com/channels/@knivesmonroeTwitch: www.twitch.tv/knivesmonroeTikTok: www.tiktok.com/@knivesmonroeFacebook: www.facebook.com/KnivesMonroeINDIE DARLINGS 2020COPYRIGHT INDIE DARLINGS LLCALL RIGHTS RESERVED#KnivesMonroevsThePodcast #DailyPodcast #IndieDarlings1 min
- IRON GIANTS (Flashback 2017)"Everyday I find myself staring up at these iron giants obstructing my view of the stars, casting narrow shadows in their wake. When I close my eyes I can hear the sky in all of us, in you, in me.Most days I feel like a marble spinning around a concrete drain, going- colliding with whats coming- sitting on hours, waiting on mechanical animals. Searching my phone for eye contact.A 19 year old shouldn't need caffeine.I miss my children'' faces. I tell myself they're smiling at me right now.Laughing.I dont want them to miss me. I'm here, when you need me.Waiting to hear your voice."- Knives Monroe June 12 2017Links To My Everything: linktr.ee/knivesmonroeApple Podcasts: podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast...Spotify: open.spotify.com/show/0PPHuIv...Soundcloud: @knivesmonroeYoutube: www.youtube.com/playlist?list...Medium: link.medium.com/Yg4XQAC3Y2Instagram: www.instagram.com/knivesmonroe/Discord: discordapp.com/channels/@knivesmonroeTwitch: www.twitch.tv/knivesmonroeTikTok: www.tiktok.com/@knivesmonroeFacebook: www.facebook.com/KnivesMonroeINDIE DARLINGS 2020COPYRIGHT INDIE DARLINGS LLCALL RIGHTS RESERVED#KnivesMonroevsThePodcast #DailyPodcast #IndieDarlings2 min
