Learn what pure Christian living looks like according to the scriptures. Also explore Bible teachings on how women are called to live the Christian life in relationships, dress, adornment, and godly character. Please note that the Bible speaks of men, women, parents, children, servants or workers in various places and discusses challenges and ideals for all of them. This particular chapter of Timothy addresses women in particular. We will seek to understand these teachings better. Society today hardly wants to recognize any distinctions between the sexes, but the Bible highlights differences as part of God's unique design in equal love and value for all.

In 1st Timothy chapter 1 we explore the entire text, verse by verse, finding Paul's instruction on leading people to teach God's truth rather than error. Paul shares his own testimony of once being an ignorant blasphemer, but how God showed mercy on him and brought him to the truth in Jesus. Holding "faith, and a good conscience" before God are essential. Lacking these we would easily make "shipwreck" of our faith experience. In this lesson we dive deeper into Paul's important teachings on this.
