The news is back and the title says it all. This week we talk about the EU's ongoing battle against changing the clocks, a new development in Krakow that will have twice as many tourists staying there as permanent residents and a murder with strange circumstances that took place early Friday morning in the Planty. Then, as apparently required by the rules of The KrakCast, we somehow land on the subject of Nazis before wrapping up.  

We return to the subject of scams in Krakow strip clubs by sharing a recording of the endless propositions that you get when you walk in Krakow's main square on a Friday night. After that, we bring you a chilling interview with a victim of a scam that brings a whole new frightening layer of risk to anyone using a credit card during a night on the town. Listen and spread the word about what can happen if you think the non-stop "all you can drink for 49zl" offers sound like a good deal.

News on the lighter side of things this week, with references to suffering animals, military bases, public drunkenness, "Polish death camps" and Nazi war crimes. We promise to get serious next week. 

First the preview, then the review. In today's episode, we talk about the new film "303. Bitwa o Anglię" or "Hurricane", as it's called in English, despite the fact that we haven't seen it. We'll take care of that later this week but for now Josh tells us about his own experiences learning about the legendary Polish pilots and their key contribution to victory in the Battle of Britain. Look for our review of the film next week. 

Jumping back in to the news, we all agree to take a brave stand AGAINST animal abuse and let the chips fall where they may. We then turn to the tragic news of Dunkin' Donuts and their 73rd failed attempt to crack the Polish market. The party really starts when Dave tells us about the latest developments in the European....um.....something about courts. We then wake up just in time to mention the latest humilation of Polish football clubs in European competitions, this time at the hands & feet of the mighty, all-powerful champions of Luxembourg.  

Krakow—city of castles, dragons and...pinball. Marcin Moszczynski and Maciej Olesiak of the Krakow Pinball Museum were our guests this week and we learned how, like all great ideas, it was inspired by the threat of divorce. Listen for an interesting description of vintage machines from the 1960's, some of their favorites from more than 50 pinball machines and whether John's poor scores are the result of simple bad luck ("No"). If you live here in Krakow and haven't been, you need to check it out as soon as you can. If you're planning a visit to our city, definitely try to find time in your schedule for a few hours of great fun.
