Jimmie Dean Stohler, dubbed the 'Crossbow Killer,' was convicted of murder in the 1982 death of Michele Powers. According to records, the victim was shot in the chest with a poison-tipped arrow and died six days later. Stohler, a former Tulsa police officer, was nearly paroled in April 2022 when Governor Kevin Stitt signed off on the Pardon and Parole Board's recommendation to release him.
