Dean talks to Claire, one of the key people at Cavendish Cancer Care centre (and a La Luna regular ever since we supported Cavendish in early 2024). Cavendish have been an amazing resource for people whose lives have been affected by cancer, both the sufferers and the family/loved ones who are supporting them. “Why not have someone walk by the side of you as you’re going through that incredibly tough experience?” says Claire. Sarah talks to two of our most loyal supporters, friends Stella and Gillian. And oh boy do they have some amazing things to say about our club night! Stella remembers the first event after Covid when “to see people’s faces light up when the music came on – it was beautiful!” “Just enough hedonism, escapism, sparkly feathers, sequins to see you through to the next one,” says Gillian. “Anything that’s bothering you, put it one side. It’s where the grown-ups go to play. It’s special. It’s really special.” Amen!
