When I first heard of this story, it broke my heart and I had to do something. While recording, a positive update happened, which I added! April Addison was hoarding, neglecting and abusing special needs dogs in her Chandler, AZ home. She pretended to have a non-profit organization that would help aid the disabled pups, but really her intentions were far from her squeaky-clean, "angelic" appearance. (She grew popular for being featured on The Dodo with her special needs dog, Clyde the super husky).
