In this episode I chatted with Emily, conservation scientist and co-founder of the not for profit business seedball which us gardeners all know and love. Designed to help bring wildflower meadows to all sorts of spaces, these seedballs are pretty amazing and bring joy to wherever they are scattered. In this episode chatted with Izzy, otherwise known as Justifybee who is known for so many wonderful things, including her greenhouse of dreams and £50 caravan renovation project. After a year-long wait for an allotment avidly growing veg in her back garden, the entirety of Instagram was absolutely buzzing the day her dream came true, myself included. Judging by the length of this episode alone it’s safe to say we had plenty to talk about, so I really hope you enjoy, it’s a good one!

In this episode I got the pleasure of chatting to Andy from Urban Herbs about how the business grew to where it is today from a non-traditional beginning. This episode is a little different from the rest as it isn’t about gardens or allotments, but I plant lovers are plant lovers, whether those live inside or out! So, I’m super excited to share my chat with Rob, co-founder of Hutch Houseplants - an INCREDIBLE plant shop based in Exeter. He shared lots of tips and tricks, as well as the amazing story behind the business. P.s. just a word of warning, it’s highly likely you’ll finish this episode with a burning desire to buy more houseplants, enjoy!

I’ve been excited to record this episode since I first started the podcast. Kirsty from my little allotment was one of the first people I ever followed and chatted to on Instagram. I just found her so inspiring and absolutely loved watching Big Max develop the first season. In this episode, I had the pleasure of chatting with one of the most passionate, inspiring and enthusiastic growers on Instagram. Lydia, otherwise known as @youroganicpt (or in my case, the onion wiggle lady) is an organic grower, personal trainer and medical herbalist with an incredible skill for storytelling - although the fact that her story is a good one definitely helps. We lost the best part of an evening to chats about amazing ants, ridiculously exciting botanical garden projects and our sheer love of plants. You’re going to love this one.

In this episode, I got to chat with Rich from SowFresh all about glorious micro greens. Prior to this episode, Rich had sent me one of their fabulous green kits to try for myself and I am fully obsessed with it. As I record this there are radishes ready to cut that were only sowed 7 days ago, pea shoots going mad and coriander (more on that in the episode). It was great to hear more about their journey and you really get a sense of just how passionate Rich is about homegrown! Enjoy listening!

In this episode, which I was buzzing to record IN PERSON! I got to meet the lovely Meg from Equinox Artisan and learn all about medicinal herbs, foraging and a little miracle pot of gold that I am now officially obsessed with, along with some other amazing products. Meg is also a volunteer beekeeper at the National Trust Arlington Court and a fountain of knowledge. We had such a lovely day recording the podcast, eating cake, drinking tea and roaming around Arlington. I came away feeling super inspired and like I’d had the best kind of therapy session. Enjoy!

Meg is such a lovely lady. Since our day out I’ve been out foraging quite a few times testing my new-found knowledge, plus, I now never leave the house without a pot of gold, it really does work miracles on nettle stings.
