Jost Sauer is an acupuncturist, lecturer, author and a popular presenter for corporate and community audiences. He’s also an ex-addict, dealer and deserter who kickstarted a recovery revolution by creating a ground-breaking new rehab program. Jost pioneered lifestyle medicine for addiction, adapted this for clients without addiction issues and the Chi Cycle lifestyle, a health-boosting, fat-burning feel-good day plan, was born.
Jost’s background includes competitive skiing, triathlon and iron man training, plus over 30 years of daily training in weights, endurance, Qi-gong and meditation. His internationally published entertaining lifestyle books include Higher and Higher, Drug Repair That Works and The Perfect Day Plan (Allen and Unwin); Chi Health Cycle (Welbeck, UK) and Wie neugeboren mit moderner TCM (Riva, Germany). Jost has treated thousands of people from celebrities to CEOs to professional athletes, he offers Chi Cycle training and runs international health retreats. Jost is passionate about making Chinese medicine accessible and about showing everyone how to make every day medicinal and magical with chi.
This episode was a lively and light discussion with the hilarious yet profound Jost all about how to live in optimum wellbeing through the Chi Health Cycle. How to live in accordance with nature and align ourselves to the natural rhythms of the cosmos.
For anyone who has met or seen Jost before would know how fit and ripped he is! We loved learning how to build up strength and muscle through his Chi cycle, not having to lift heavy weights everyday! It was an eye opening conversation into how to implement practices into your lifestyle in a gradual and sustainable way.
This episode we were so excited to interview the incredible Dylan Sacciocio, researcher, actor and author of Spirit Whirled, The Tale of Onora, and Get Mad or Get Realistic.

This episode we has the pleasure of chatting to Jason Parks, an Energetic Therapy Specialist from The Life Principle in Southern Tasmania.
His journey into the world of healing started in the mid 1980’s through meditation and Qi Gong. This led him to become a 32nd Generation Disciple of the Song Shan Shaolin Temple where he served as a Civil Monk for five years. During this time, he studied a range of skills including exorcism, Feng Shui, space clearing and energy manipulation.
Jason is also qualified as a master practitioner of Qi Gong. After leaving the tradition to study a range of natural healing modalities in both Eastern and Western traditions. Since then, he has worked as an Energy Therapy Specialist, doing thousands of sessions with clients around Australia and the world.
This episode was a really wonderful and timely insight into how to perceive and expand our energy fields. Jason also went into how men aren't taught how to tap into these energies, but if we can teach them from a younger age how to connect into their heart space then they'll have this as a benchmark going forwards in their lives.
Asher Packman is an incredible meditation teacher, kundalini yoga teacher, president of Meditation Australia and depth-orientated mentor. He is also the founder of mythopoetic community group, The Fifth Direction. Bridging meditation, breath work, poetry, storytelling of ancient stories, celebrating the return to soul.
Previously Asher was in a high striving corporate career, but then in 2010 was diagnosed with a progressive rare blood cancer, which saw him shifting gears to focus on his health and well-being.
This episode we discussed Asher’s journey into this work and how it started off as a slight tap on the shoulder, but then progressed into a train slamming into him to ‘wake him up’ and bring him into the work that he is doing now.
We also went into how grounding is the priority for humanity and how the constant striving for ascension is actually counter productive to our growth. We also dove into how parts of our lives are classified as ‘mini deaths’. Deaths of parts of ourselves, that then shift into re-birth, deaths of relationships that haven’t served either one of us. How these mini deaths are actually quite beautiful, because they shift us into what we’re here to do.
This was a highly expansive conversation with Asher and we recommend this one especially for the men in our lives, brothers, husbands, friends and fathers. We know you’ll absolutely love this episode and find Asher’s words and meaning incredibly deep and beautiful.

Ayurveda is a 5000-year-old medical system that translates to the science/knowledge of life. It is a modality deep rooted in the ancient philosophy that we are seasonal and cyclical beings composed of the natural elements. In order to create more harmony and balance in our minds and bodies for overall well-being Ayurveda recommends living according to the seasons including our diet, lifestyle habits and exercise. When we enhance our bodies natural rhythms, we can restore balance to our entire energetic systems.
This episode, Bella will discuss how to optimise our body’s natural ability to heal through our Ayurvedic daily routines (Dinacharya). How we flow through each day and the rituals we set is how we then flow throughout the rest of our lives and can determine our overall health and wellbeing. Learn how to set up a morning practice, what foods to eat and when and why certain times of the day should be include certain activities and not others.
As always we hope you enjoy this episode and find some great takeaways for you to implement into your daily lives to harness optimal wellbeing. Please note this episode is not medical information, nor intended to diagnose, cure or reverse a disease. If you should have any health concerns, please seek medical advice from your practitioner.
