The Lake Show

Welcome back to The Lake Show for Waypoint 23!! Just like before, we begin by highlighting restocks and items being released soon. From there we recap a ton of local tournament results. Starting with KOC qualifiers and then moving to TTO, Bass Champs, and the Tri Lakes Working Man's Series. Wait until you hear some of the weights being brought in from some of the area lakes! We finish up the second half of the program by reviewing the ShareLunker Collection season. Year after year these numbers blow our minds and 2026 was no different. The double deuce......Waypoint 22 has just dropped!! It's Springtime, the fish are biting, the wind is blowing and we have a pile of tournament results to go over. In addition to results, we have some dates on some upcoming tournaments in the DFW area that you'll definitely want to remember. We'll also highlight our Thursday Night Working Man's Tournament along with the past few weeks results, as well a couple of very important rules for our series. We also have our first in studio guest as we welcome Scott Gieser, of Geezer Fishing Co., to the table to announce the release of his new line of fishing lures. These are some plugs you'll definitely want to get your hands on and he'll tell you where and how to find them!

We're back!!!! It's Waypoint 21 coming at you after an extended break! We picking up right where we left off and it's full speed ahead going into the fishing season. We kick it off with our "Question of the Day" and then roll into results from Champs, Two and other local tournaments. We then highlight some upcoming derbs that we have our eye on, and that we know you'll be interested in as well. Hop in with us as we knock some of the rust off and get back to talking DFW fishing!

We can finally feel our fingers and Waypoint 20 is live!! We survived the ice storm, warmer temps are ahead and we're ready to get back to business as usual. Stevie Wonder told us that superstition ain't the way, but you can't tell us that! Some of us have them, some of us know people that have them but this week we get into superstitions that we believe make for a successful day on the water. Some folks are kinda-stitious, some are superstitious and then here we are! The second half of the program is dedicated to the first batch of Sharelunkers hitting the scales along with the story of one fish that is definitely one you need to hear. Come along with us as we talk a little fishing and have a lot of fun doing it!

Waypoint #19 has entered the chat! Hop on board with the bait shop bros as we think back and try to describe the first tackle store we visited as kids. I'm sure some of these, if not all have been visited by some of you out there. After that we recap some local tournament results and highlight some upcoming events. In our last segment we hop on the social media "2016" trend and flashback to who and what was hot in the world of fishing in 2016. It's interesting to see what was hot back then and discover maybe one of the most important tools in fishing that made it's debut that year. It's another Lake Show Podcast, so come along and listen and laugh with us!

Howdy pardner! The Stock Show is in town and so is Waypoint 18! Saddle up with us this week as we start the show by going over some up coming derbys. Next, we've all done it or watched it happen, but we discuss things we have lost over the side of the boat. Whether it was your own fault or your partner thought you were going to catch it.......many valuables have disappeared over the side of the boat. We finish the show by quizzing the guys on how good they know the rules. There was a recent incident where someone unknowingly broke a rule that cost him a tournament win, so we go through some random rules from our local trails to see if the guys know their stuff.

It's a new year and we're picking up right where we left off! As kids, we all had that that one lure or piece of equipment that made us feel like we were "one of the guys". We start this show off by sharing that aha moment that stuck out to us at an early age. From there we move on to some Squaw Creek results and touch on some of the first tournament dates being held by some of our local trails. Finally, we round out the segment with a discussion on a topic that has been on our minds for a while. Come join us this year as we continue to be the voice of the DFW and North Texas fishing scene!

Happy Christmas and Merry New Year!! It's your Brazos River bad boys coming to you with our last episode of 2025! Waypoint 16 is live and we're closing out 2025 the same way we started. It's that time of year, so we start with all of our "Fishing New Year's Resolutions". From there we cover some results from our last championship of the year and highlight a few stops on some local tournament trails. The remainder of the episode is done in true Lake Show Podcast fashion, we're talking B.A.S.S., MLF and TPWD Game Wardens. We'd like to thank everyone who listened, shared, liked and subscribed in 2025 and we're looking forward to doing a lot more in 2026! On the first week of December, the Lake Show gave to me......the latest episode, Waypoint #15!! 'Tis the season to get together and talk about DFW fishing. On this week's episode we kick it off with our first installment of gift ideas for that hard to buy for fisherman or woman in your life. From there we look back at the results from Fish N Chips, a Granbury benefit tournament as well as a Black Friday tournament on Squaw. We close out the program talking Fall/Winter fishing and what we're looking forward to regarding conditions and tactics. Get ready to mark this spot because Waypoint #14 is here! It's our Thanksgiving week episode and we're "stuffing" as much fishing talk as we can into one show. On this week's menu, our appetizer is our opinion of old-school baits that really used to catch them and probably still could. The next course consists of some THSBA results with a side of the Kings of Cowtown 2026 qualifier and tournament schedule. We finish this meal with a heaping helping of more big fish talk as we cover some Texas Rod & Reel Records of various species and a few select records from some familiar bodies of water. So put on your Thanksgiving pants, listen to The Lake Show and then top it off with a long nap!!
