This one is just me.
No guest. No interview. Just Kelly sitting with you and getting really honest.
After my conversation with Eric Bigger in Episode 3, I found myself thinking about something that goes way beyond his story. Something that belongs to all of us.
The gap between the life we know is ours and the one we are actually living.
I talk about the leap I am taking with this show and why it is uncomfortable. I talk about losing relationships when I started choosing myself. I talk about the grief of losing my mom and the grief of losing a version of me that no longer fit.
And I talk about the one thing that separates the people who rise from the people who stay stuck.
It is not talent. It is not luck. It is not who you know.
It is that intuitive nudge. The one that most of us suppress. The one that says be bold. Be daring. Go.
We are in a new rise of consciousness, and it is time to stop the old story. Drop the old identity. And move forward in your purpose every single day.
Whatever shows up for you — trust it. Follow it. Never look back.
Nothing is off limits here. Let's land. 🌊
What does it really cost to choose God over fame?
In this episode of The Landing Space, host Kelly sits down with Eric Bigger — TV personality, motivational speaker, author, executive coach, and mental health advocate — for one of the most honest, raw, and spiritually alive conversations the show has ever had.
Eric grew up in Baltimore. A city full of grit, pain, and survival. From the beginning, he knew there had to be something more than what was around him. When basketball did not take him where he wanted to go, he decided to go pro in life instead. That decision eventually led him to Hollywood, to national television, to fame — and to one of the loneliest seasons of his life.
Because here is what nobody tells you about making it. You can be at the top and still feel completely empty. Eric was on the outside of Hollywood looking in, and what he saw was a world built on performance, on acting, on becoming whoever you needed to be to stay visible. And for a man whose whole soul was built for authenticity, it did not fit.
In 2023, everything came apart at once. His father was in and out of the hospital. He was navigating a relationship with someone in crisis. He was losing friends and losing himself. He describes it as the darkest year of his life — a man who had always been driven and strong suddenly asking himself if this was what depression felt like.
But that dark night of the soul was not the end. It was the beginning.
In this conversation, Eric opens up about things he rarely shares publicly. The Mother wound that shaped everything — never feeling his mother's love, carrying that void into every relationship and every achievement, and the profound healing that came when he finally understood her story too. He talks about the twin he lost before birth, the grief he carried for years without even knowing it was there. He shares the moment his great-grandmother came through in an angel reading and apologized for a cycle of lovelessness that had been passed down through generations — a cycle Eric was chosen to break.
He talks about God frequency — not as a concept but as a way of living. What it means to be spiritually fit every single day, not just when things are good. What it means to make God cool. To bring light into dark spaces without losing yourself in them.
He talks about men. About Men's Monday. About why men struggle to be vulnerable, why they suffer in silence, why they jeopardize truth to protect connection — and what happens when they finally feel safe enough to say what is really going on inside.
And he talks about what is next. A new book on Spiritual Fitness dropping June 2026. A growing community called Sacred Momentum. A mission that is bigger than any one person — because as Eric says, his last name is not an accident.
I can't live for the me of me. I got to live for the me that's the we of the world.
This episode will not leave you where it found you.

Let’s land.
What happens when you survive something… but realize you’re not fully living?
In this first episode, Kelly Schmidt shares the journey that led to the creation of The Landing Space — from feeling out of alignment to choosing truth, reconnection, and alignment on her terms.
This isn’t just her story.
It’s the beginning of a room.
A space where women speak boldly about grief, faith, ambition, reinvention, relationships, identity — and the decisions that change everything.
No performance.
No pretending.
Nothing off limits.
If you’re ready to stop surviving and start living aligned — this is your invitation.
Let’s land.
