The Grand Valley State University Counseling Center hosted Mental Health Screening Day which helped student assess and learn about their mental health. Staff writer Katie Rauhut joins the Lanthorn Loop to discuss her coverage of the event.  

GV Football defeated rival Saginaw Valley State University by a score of 29-10. Staff writer Brian Bloom joins the Lanthorn Loop to discuss the game and the process of covering a college football game. 

The GVSU Farmers Markets sells affordable produce to GVSU students on campus. In addition, their are many opportunities to get involved through internships or volunteering.  

From Sept. 12 to Sept. 16 Grand Valley State University hosted Mental Health Awareness Week. Mental Health Awareness Week was was completely student run and featured a variety of events that helped students learn about mental health.  

Subject to Change is an improv comedy group at Grand Valley State University. The group uses their performances to help entertain the GVSU community while raising money to assist in philanthropic endeavors. 

On August 24th the Biden-Harris Administration announced the Student Debt Relief Plan to help ease student debt issues in America. This plan will greatly affect many Grand Valley State University students.

Grand Valley State University held its first-ever Sex Ed Week. The week consisted of 13 lighthearted and serious events so students had the opportunity to learn more about sexual education while having fun.

Aramark, a food service provider from Philadelphia and has been linked to many unethical issues. Grand Valley students and groups on campus are questioning if this contract is what's best for the University and are exploring other possible options.
