Welcome to our latest weekly film podcast; The Last Edit #26 - Red Cliff (2008). John Woo's historical epic based on Chinese mythology has his unique cinematic style stamped on the genre. General Cao Cao (Fengyi Zhang) manipulates the young Emperor to declare war on the southern provinces. An alliance is formed to counter Cao, led by Viceroy Zhou Yu (Tony Leung). Zhou, along with his generals must think outside of the box in an effort to conquer Cao's massive army. Let's talk film folks...
