Welcome to our latest weekly film podcast; The Last Edit #27 - Blade Runner (1982). Ridley Scott's cyberpunk retrofitted masterpiece has long been an admired cult film. From it's beautiful aesthetic to Vangelis' sublime soundtrack and some truly wonderful performances, Blade Runner has only become more influential over time. Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford) is a retired Blade Runner called back into action to hunt down and retire some dangerous escaped replicant's. The replicant's built by Elden Tyrell (Joe Turkel) to be "More human than human" only have a four year life span and must find a way to extend their lives before they shutdown.
