Thea Rickard speaks to Nikou Jahanshahi Alemi, the writing and creativity coordinator of The Last Night Podcast. Nikou explains the meaning of intersectionality, and discusses the problem of solely middle-class white feminism. Although Nikou is BAME, she would like to acknowledge what she describes as her 'class, nationality, able-bodied, cisgendered, slightly white-passing privilege'. Despite this, we at The Last Night Podcast still feel as though Nikou was an excellent guest to speak on the topic of intersectionality as a bisexual woman of colour who above all is highly passionate and well-read about the topic. Thank you Nikou!
